My grandma turned 74 last weekend so we celebrated with her at one of our family's favorite restaurants, Casa Linda. A brief history...my parents have been eating there since before I was born. In fact, the night before my mom went into labor with both my sister and I, she and my dad ate there. Jonathan and I had our rehearsal dinner there (however the special menu that was made up for us had "Sharyn and Jonathan" on it, which is my mom's name...weird I know) and the make the best chili rellanos I've ever had.
My sister got off work early that night so we were all at dinner and I know that made both my parents and my grandma happy. My sister, since moving out, has worked a lot more and she hasn't been able to join us for many night time family events.
Juliet, give us a real smile please.
