Collin's Family Memorial Day

Jonathan's family has been doing something every Memorial Day weekend since his parents, aunts and uncles were younger than us, so for AGES! :) This year was the standard trip to Palm Springs, CA where the fun in the sun is spent at the pool, at the golf course, or around a table breaking bread together. Jonathan's brother Jeffery is in Iraq, so he did not get to join us and the girls missed him.

Our first night in town was spent at Las Casuelas Nueva restaurant.  Each year everyone meets here for our first dinner together.

Ava isn't a fan of swimming and usually only tried doing it after Jonathan had forced her to.  She would cry, do it, then beg to be done!

Tony thought it would be funny to take Gwen in the pool like this as well after seeing Jonathan do it to his mom.  Luckily I was the one taking pictures with my camera so I was spared!

We also celebrate May birthdays, so Kylie and I had special treats one night.

You could say this was the vacation to our (Honduras) vacation.  Soon it'll be back to reality!
