When I attempt to let the girls do something new, I usually have 3 little voices all shouting "I WANT TO DO IT TOO", so rarely I let them do anything new if their sisters are around. Of course this doesn't apply much to Juliet because usually she isn't doing something her sisters haven't already done, but more for Kylie and Ava.
My friend Candace convinced me to let the girls try to make their own PB&J sandwiches. Again, its not that I don't like them doing those things, it just ends up being more work for me and then all the girls want to do it, so something that takes me 30 seconds takes them 20 minutes.

They were so stinkin' proud of themselves. There were some shouts of joy as well as some jumping up and down...all over a sandwich!
I do remember it's much easier to do it yourself but, much more FUN for the Girls :)Tell them Grammy's so proud of them, they look so serious! WOOHOO DADDY'S coming Home tomorrow I bet all of you Girls are soooo excited!! Love and Kisses to All

ReplyDeleteI'm actually surprised this is their first sandwich with all the times you let them make pizza and other things! You're always letting the girls do things I haven't even considered doing with Alyssa! So glad they had lots of fun!!
